Dr. Reza Ardalan, better known as “Dr. Reza” in the office, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997. After moving to Florida, Dr. Reza received his DMD degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2002. While there, Dr. Reza served as Student Body President and received numerous awards including: The American Society of Dentistry for Children Outstanding Senior Award, Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Outstanding Senior Award, Pierre Fauchard Academy Award, NSU-CDM Student of the Year, Excellence in Student Leadership, and NSU Chancellor’s Award among many others.
After graduation, Dr. Reza continued on to receive his pediatric training at Nova Southeastern University and Miami Children’s Hospital where he served as Chief Resident.
Since opening the office, Dr. Reza has been recognized as the NSU-CDM Distinguished Alumnus of the Year, the DOH Champion Dentist of the Year and has received distinguished service awards from the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr Reza has also served two terms as President of the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is the past President of the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Reza is trained and certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support demonstrating his commitment to treating children in the safest manner possible. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (FAPD), Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry (SSPD), American Dental Association (ADA), and the Florida Dental Association (FDA).
Dr. Reza was born in Tehran, Iran in 1975 and moved to the United States when he was five years old. After moving all over the country as a child, he chose to make Port St. Lucie, Florida his permanent home. He is married to his wife, Kimberly, and they have a wonderful son, Aidan, two beautiful daughters Layla and Noelle, and a Cairn terrier named Mia Hamm. In his spare time, Dr. Reza enjoys watching all types of sports, especially those involving his favorite teams the University of North Carolina Tar Heels and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
